Teaching Material
Welcome to stand against violence education.
This site provides you with a unique and impacting tool to educate pupils about violence and its consequences.
The short film you see on this page re-enacts a real life story of a murder and shows how easily violence can
end in disastrous consequences and the many lives it can effect.
On this page we also provide you with lesson plans and resources designed by a PSHE teacher from a Somerset
secondary school. These can be used in conjunction with the DVD to construct a series of lessons.
We would like to see schools developing their own community campaigns to raise awarness of violence in their
own communities. The report on the ‘About S.A.V’ page contains more information about this and how it can be
achieved. There is also an annual award for the schools that produce the best campaign.
We are asking that those who adapt these lesson plans or develop others that are successful, submit these
plans via email so they can be added to the website for other schools to use.

DVD of the Film is now available...
We have now produced the movie on DVD, we hope this
helps spread the word even further! If you are having
trouble or are unable to stream the film directly via this
website please contact us via the contact page. The DVD
also comes with an information booklet with details on the
campaign. Please bear in mind the environment when
ordering a DVD.
Donations to the campaign.
Thank you to all the companies and people that have helped me in bringing
my vision of this campaign to life... We really want to be able to spread the
word and hopefully make people think before they act. If you are in the
position to help the campaign financially then please use the button on the
right.
Use the full screen mode and show the film to your audience through a projector
